Warm Candle Oil Massage in Athens

A massage candle is made from cosmetic butters and oils that melt at just above body temperature. The candle burns beside you through the start of the session, and the therapist pours the warm oil directly onto the skin — noticeably warmer and richer than oil from a bottle.

The technique itself is slow and flowing, closer to a relaxing massage than to deep tissue work. The warmth of the oil does much of the work, and the melted butters leave the skin conditioned afterwards, so no shower is needed.
