Deep Tissue Massage in Athens
Firm, focused, and aimed at the knots that a relaxing massage will not shift.
Deep tissue massage works slowly and with sustained pressure into the deeper layers of muscle and the connective tissue around it. Rather than covering the whole body evenly, your therapist spends most of the session on the areas that actually need it — usually the neck, shoulders, lower back or calves.
It should feel intense but never painful. Pressure is always adjustable, and we would much rather you speak up than endure a session that is too strong. Some tenderness the following day is normal.
This is the treatment for chronic, specific tension: the shoulder that has been tight for months, the lower back that aches by Friday, the calves of someone who runs. If you want to relax and drift off, book the relaxing or hot stone massage instead.
Available as 45, 70 or 100 minutes. For focused work on one or two areas, 45 minutes is often enough.
